Properly made drinks, from Stoke.
We're a small team in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, on a mission to put proper independent makers in front of UK drinkers who care what's in their glass.
Liquor Estate started in 2024, in the back room of an old pottery in Burslem. We'd spent the previous decade running other people's drinks businesses — bars, distilleries, a wine import desk — and kept noticing the same thing:
“The drinks we loved most never made it to the people who'd love them back.”
Small makers couldn't afford supermarket buy-ins. National wholesalers stocked the same 50 brands. Most online shops were just clearance houses. So we built our own — slow, curated, and proudly small.

What we believe
Four things we hold to.
Slow over scale
We'd rather list 200 properly-made bottles than 20,000 we've never tasted.
People, not factories
Every maker on the shelf is someone we've sat with — usually in their barn or stillroom.
Honest pricing
No inflated RRPs. The price you see is the price we'd pay if we were buying it ourselves.
Quietly sustainable
Recyclable everything, refillable where possible, no plastic for plastic's sake.
